MIP2018 will be held in Israel

At a recent vote the Society Board members were asked to select the venue for MIP2018 from amongst the proposed expressions of interest.  There were two proposals for holding the 2018 conference, one from Poland (W. Kutner) and the other from Israel (B. Green, D. Mandler & S. Marx).  Both were excellent proposals but the Board members voted in favour of the Israeli bid by a majority decision. The MIP2018 conference has therefore been awarded to Israel. Congratulations to the successful team!  I look forward to seeing you all in Israel in 2018.
